Sometimes, we come across original ties which are rather remarkable and these are three of those gems which we have had re-woven and replicated. Ideal for any early C20th from 1920-1950
The Brown/Orange squares tie was found at the bottom of a costume skip and has a very unusual textured pattern. To be even more authentic this one has been made up with very little interfacing so makes a tight knot.
The Art Deco Replica clearly has a bit of Chrysler Building influence in the design but we can't be certain of the date so Art Deco is a loose term. As a flashier tie this one has more substantial interfacing for a larger knot.
The grey plaid was reproduced from a miserable little scrap of silk and is now restored to life as the perfect non-attention seeking tie. Again, we thought it deserved interfacing so makes a bigger knot.
Interlined ties both width at base 3" or 7.5 cm
Pure woven silk
